Foxfire Eventing is a volunteer organization created by youth on behalf of humans and horses. We believe eventing and other types of riding should not be elitist activities, and that all horses and humans deserve a chance at happiness. Foxfire believes in second chances, helping others, and giving time to support what you love.

Our organization fosters a hands-on learning environment for youth and adult participants and volunteers, supports personal growth at all ages, promotes the acquisition of soft skills, encourages responsibility, and builds confidence through working with horses.

Some of what we offer:

-hands-on work programs: kids run their own farm!

-horseback riding lessons and specialized riding programs for all ages and levels

-family volunteer programs and horse sponsorships

-community service days for individuals and groups

-individual hands-on animal experiences for those seeking emotional or cognitive supports

-competitive opportunities for those interested in dressage, show-jumping, and/or combined training

-dressage clinic every Saturday, with accompanying weekly learning materials

Are you interested in riding? Foxfire horses have taught many kids and adults all aspects of horsemanship. The independent instructors who work with Foxfire can help design a program that is right for you.

Are you a competitive rider? Learn about the benefits of boarding your horse or traveling to competitions with a team of horse lovers who value horse wellbeing and rider growth above all else.
